ACCOMMODATION REVIEW
Known as the coolest hotel in Edinburgh, the Bonham is a stylish and elegant four-star townhouse hotel located in the city of Edinburgh. Being a city hotel, the emphasis is on service and quality rather than on offering a wide range of leisure facilities but the Bonham does offer an award-winning restaurant and is within easy walking distance of all the attractions that Edinburgh has to offer. The Bonham also houses a permanent contemporary art collection, featuring the works of approximately up and coming local artists.
There are 48 beautifully decorated bedrooms at the Bonham Hotel and while all the rooms are excellent, its selection of superior rooms and suites are ideal for those looking for that extra level of space and luxury. Each room has an individual, contemporary design and features rich, bold colours. They offer large, comfortable beds, an abundance of cushions and airy windows, many of which allow spectacular views across Edinburgh. The Bonham is particularly hot on technology and the rooms offer excellent facilities, including television with 55 cable channels, modem points, mini bar, 24-hour room service, hairdryer and trouser press.
Along with its great location, one of the major attractions of the Bonham Hotel is its excellent contemporary restaurant, which is rated as one of the finest in Edinburgh. Famed for its innovative cooking, the acclaimed restaurant is one of only ten in the city of Edinburgh that has been awarded two AA Rosettes for the quality of its cuisine. Far from traditional, the cooking is in the European style, with an emphasis on using natural and organic ingredients where possible.
ONLINE GOLF TRAVEL RATING
This is a quality four-star option, which we have no hesitation in recommending. It may not be rich in terms of leisure facilities but that is not the type of place it is. As a city based hotel, the Bonham is a great option.
